Who we are
We grew up on serious roleplay servers. Then we watched them freeze. Same systems, same map, same quiet nights. So we built a city that moves.
Flux Gaming is an independent studio building Flux Life: a city life-sim where cops, crooks, medics, firefighters and business owners all play with and against each other, and the city itself keeps score.
Crime pays more when the law pushes harder. Witnesses remember what you wore. The morning paper names your crew. And when the server is quiet, the city still finds a way to make the night interesting.
Signature systems
Every system in Flux Life talks to the others. The law shapes the street economy, the street economy shapes the headlines, and the headlines follow your name.

Why Flux Life
Long-running servers win on community and lose on freshness. Their systems were built once and frozen. We are attacking exactly those weak points.
The usual server
Flux Life
The world sits still until players do something.
The Pulse spawns and scales scenarios to whoever is online.
Progression is a whitelist and a playtime counter.
Service Records with ladders, and promotions signed by players.
Crime is a money button. Policing is paperwork.
Pressure Index pricing and evidence-driven Casefiles.
Consequences evaporate at the next respawn.
Street Memory, rap sheets and a morning paper that names names.
New players drown in rules and get robbed in minute two.
First Night: a guided arrival with a job and a meal inside an hour.
Premium doubles your income.
Cosmetics only. Nothing that touches money, XP or gear is sold.
Bans happen behind closed doors.
A public justice log with rule codes, staff names and appeal states.
128-slot servers that lag at peak, hosted far away.
A 64-citizen city tuned for smooth hit-reg.
Pick a life
Every path has a ladder, a payday and a story worth telling. Switch whenever you like; your record follows you.
Patrol, investigate, testify. Build cases from witness logs and evidence, push the Pressure Index, and earn stripes the precinct pins on you in person.
Service record
A moment you'll tell friends about
The Pinning: every on-duty officer on the precinct steps as the chief pins your stripes.

No vaporware, no mystery patches. This is what is in the city today, what we are building, and what is next. The best Discord suggestions land here.
Fair income, said loudly
Premium on other servers means earning double. Not here. Supporting Flux Life gets you cosmetics and our thanks. Nothing that touches money, XP or gear is ever for sale.
